Credential theft via iframe injection
Published Aug 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper neutralization in EyesOfNetwork 5.3 allows remote attackers to steal credentials or trigger actions via a crafted iframe URL. The url parameter of /module/module_frame/index.php is inserted without adequate neutralization, allowing remote content to load inside an authenticated user session. Exploitation requires a user to follow the crafted link; the documented consequences are credential theft and unwanted actions, with no demonstrated server-side code execution.
