Administrator-level stored XSS via unescaped settings
Published Nov 28, 2022 · Updated Apr 25, 2025
Stored XSS in the Google Forms WordPress plugin 0.95 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator's browser. Form-setting input containing a quote and an event-handler attribute is stored, then rendered into an input element without sanitization or output escaping. Administrator-level access is required to publish the payload, and a user must revisit the plugin page and interact with the affected field to execute it.
