Authenticated database query execution via menu-list endpoint
Published Sep 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in JFinal CMS 5.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries via /system/menu/list requests. The public report demonstrates injection through that route but does not disclose in retrievable text which request parameter reaches an unsafe SQL operation. Administrator access is required, and successful injection can read or alter database data or interrupt database-backed service.
