Database compromise via administrative image-list SQL injection
Published Sep 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in JFinal CMS 5.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through the /admin/image/list endpoint. The referenced proof of concept demonstrates injection in that administrative route, but its accessible text does not identify the request parameter or server-side query construction. Administrator authentication is required; successful injection can expose, alter, or delete database data and interrupt service through database operations.
