Authenticated arbitrary SQL execution via list_approve input
Published Sep 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in JFinal CMS 5.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL via /admin/article/list_approve. The public report demonstrates injection at that administrative route but does not publish the vulnerable parameter or query-building operation in retrievable text. Administrator access to the CMS back end is required, and successful exploitation can read, alter, or delete data available to the application's database account.
