Database-name disclosure via injectable user identifier
Published Sep 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in School Activity Updates with SMS Notification 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the id parameter. The edit-user endpoint interprets the id query parameter as SQL syntax; a UNION SELECT payload returns the current database name. A valid Super Admin session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is database-name disclosure; broader data access is not publicly demonstrated.
