Cross-site scripting in the MTR 1.0.4 component of Nagios XI 5.8.6 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser. Public records do not identify the MTR request field or the missing output-encoding operation that permits script injection. Exploitation requires user interaction, after which injected script executes with the Nagios XI web origin's access to displayed data and actions.
