CVE-2022-38201Network attack vector

Attacker-domain redirect via unvalidated destination URL

Published Nov 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 10, 2025

Open redirect in Esri ArcGIS QuickCapture Web Designer 10.8.1 through 10.9.1 allows remote attackers to send users to attacker-controlled sites. The Web Designer accepts a crafted redirect destination without validating that its domain is trusted; Esri has not disclosed the affected parameter or handler. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to follow the attacker-supplied link, exposing that user to attacker-controlled content without reported server compromise.
