Browser script execution via crafted reflected input
Published Aug 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Reflected XSS in Esri Portal for ArcGIS 10.9.1 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser via a crafted link. Esri has not disclosed the affected request handler or parameter, beyond establishing that crafted link input is reflected without safe neutralization. Exploitation requires a victim to open the link; resulting script execution can read or modify data available to that browser session.
