Unauthenticated login bypass via URL modification
Published Nov 3, 2022 · Updated May 2, 2025
Missing authentication in Avaya Scopia Pathfinder 10 and 20 PTS 8.3.7.0.4 allows remote attackers to bypass login via URL modification. Removing index.html and requesting Login redirects the session to ClientStatus, exposing authenticated menus; UserEdit?username=admin then reaches the administrator password-change page. The endpoint is reachable without credentials, enabling sensitive-information access and password resets, while the record reports no service-availability impact.
