Scanning-engine crash via uncaught unpacker exception

Denial of service in F-Secure Endpoint Protection before Capricorn database 2022-11-22_07 allows remote attackers to crash its scanning engine. The aerdl.dll unpacker handler leaves an exception uncaught while unpacking remotely supplied content, propagating the failure into the scanning engine. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is limited to loss of scanning availability.
