CVE-2022-38163Network attack vector

Address bar spoofing via drag-and-drop handling

Published Nov 7, 2022 · Updated May 2, 2025

Address bar spoofing in F-Secure Internet Security Browser 19.0 and earlier allows attackers to misrepresent a page's origin after a drag operation. The browser handles a user drag-and-drop action on the address bar without preserving an accurate binding between the displayed address and the loaded page. Exploitation requires user interaction and can mislead the user about which site supplies the displayed content, with no reported data access or code execution.
