Settings changes and log deletion via missing nonces
Published Sep 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in RD Station WordPress Plugin 5.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter plugin settings. Several request-handling functions omit correct WordPress nonce validation; clear_log_file also accepts a forged request that deletes plugin logs. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active session to follow an attacker-controlled link, bounding the demonstrated consequences to configuration changes and log deletion.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
