Uninitialized-pointer access in Triangle MicroWorks IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-6 libraries allows remote attackers to interrupt service. Affected client or server code dereferences a small set of pointers before initialization; the specific functions and triggering input are undisclosed. Unauthenticated network input can interrupt implementations embedding IEC 61850 C 11.2.0 and earlier, IEC 61850 C++, C#, or Java 5.0.1 and earlier, or IEC 60870-6 C++ 4.4.3 and earlier.
