Uncontrolled search path handling in Intel oneAPI DPC++/C++ and Fortran Compilers before 2022.2.1 allows local users to escalate privileges. Intel identifies the affected locus only as compiler search-path handling and has not disclosed which executable or library lookup uses an attacker-writable path element. Exploitation requires local authenticated access, low privileges, high attack complexity, and user interaction; success yields elevated privileges.
