Unauthenticated administrative access via unprotected service URL
Published Nov 10, 2022 · Updated May 1, 2025
Improper authentication in POWERCOM UPSMON PRO 2.57 allows remote attackers to obtain administrator access through a known service URL. The login function leaves that service URL without identity verification, so direct requests bypass the credential check and expose administrative functions. No account is required; successful access permits system control and service interruption through the product's management functions.
