CVE-2022-38115Network attack vector

Unauthenticated method disclosure via HTTP responses

Published Nov 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 24, 2025

HTTP method disclosure in SolarWinds Security Event Manager 2022.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to enumerate allowed methods. SolarWinds states that the web interface reveals methods such as OPTIONS, DELETE, TRACE, and PUT, but does not identify the affected endpoint or handler. The HTTPS interface must be network-reachable, no authentication is required, and the documented consequence is limited to method-configuration disclosure.
