Command injection in Six Apart Ltd. Movable Type 7 r.5202 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute Perl scripts and OS commands. The mt-xmlrpc.cgi XMLRPC endpoint accepts a crafted POST message that reaches Perl and OS command execution, but the precise unsafe operation is undisclosed. The endpoint must be Internet-executable; affected 6.x and Premium lines share the flaw, and attacker-controlled command arguments remain limited.
