CVE-2022-38073Network attack vector

Stored script execution via unsanitized ticket content

Published Sep 21, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Stored XSS in Awesome Support 6.0.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts when a privileged user views a ticket. The ticket save path stored post_content without wp_kses filtering, while custom-field sanitization did not HTML-encode quotes before rendering. A user with the plugin's Subscriber role can plant the payload, but execution requires another user to open the affected ticket content.
