Command execution via exported spreadsheet formulas
Published Sep 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSV injection in Export Post Info 1.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through exported post data. The CSV export path writes attacker-controlled post fields, including titles, without neutralizing leading spreadsheet formula characters. Author-level access is required to plant the data, and execution occurs only when another user opens the CSV in susceptible spreadsheet software.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
