Published Sep 9, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in WP Shamsi 4.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify plugin settings through WordPress. The settings-save path accepts subscriber requests without the capability check required to restrict configuration changes to administrators. Subscriber access is sufficient to alter stored plugin options, including activation of a Pro license, while no confidentiality or availability impact is reported.
