CVE-2022-3800Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database compromise via interpolated table name

Published Nov 1, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

SQL injection in IBAX go-ibax before 1.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to read, alter, or delete database data via table_name. The rowsInfo handler interpolates table_name into quoted PostgreSQL SELECT statements with fmt.Sprintf, allowing a closing quote and stacked SQL. Low-privileged API access is sufficient; injected statements execute with the node database account's permissions and can delay service or expose, modify, and remove data.
