CVE-2022-3799Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SQL injection via unescaped order parameter

Published Nov 1, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

SQL injection in the tablesInfo API in IBAX go-ibax allows remote authenticated users to execute database statements through the order parameter. The handler inserts form.Order directly into an ORDER BY clause built with fmt.Sprintf, allowing supplied SQL tokens to alter the query. Low-privileged remote access is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates time-based execution with pg_sleep rather than destructive database changes.
