Win32k privilege escalation in affected Microsoft Windows releases allows local users to gain SYSTEM privileges through local execution. Microsoft has not disclosed the vulnerable Win32k routine or the incorrect operation that permits the privilege boundary to be crossed. Exploitation requires existing low-privileged access, needs no user interaction, and grants complete control under the SYSTEM account.
