User redirection to untrusted sites
Published Nov 3, 2022 · Updated May 1, 2025
Open redirect in HPE OneView Global Dashboard before 2.7 allows remote attackers to redirect users to untrusted sites via crafted URLs. HPE has not disclosed the affected request handler or the validation error that permits an attacker-controlled destination to be accepted. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted link, after which the redirect can move the browser to an attacker-selected site for phishing or content spoofing; no availability impact is reported.
