Unauthenticated script execution in management browser
Published Nov 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Reflected XSS in the Aruba EdgeConnect Enterprise web management interface allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. HPE identifies the interface but has not disclosed the affected request parameter, response-generating code path, or specific input-handling error. Exploitation requires a user to open an attacker-controlled request, and the script runs in the affected interface's browser context, allowing access to data and actions available to that session without affecting service availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=ECOS 9.2.1.0 and below; ECOS 9.1.3.0 and below; ECOS 9.0.7.0 and below; ECOS 8.3.7.1 and below;
