Command injection in Aruba EdgeConnect Enterprise Software allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands as root through its CLI. The vendor identifies the command-line interface as the vulnerable locus but has not disclosed the affected handler or how input reaches the host command executor. Affected ranges are ECOS 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.7.1, 9.0.0.0 through 9.0.7.0, 9.1.0.0 through 9.1.3.0, and 9.2.0.0 through 9.2.1.0; a highly privileged network session is required, and exploitation completely compromises the appliance.
