CVE-2022-37911Network attack vector

Authenticated file read or resource exhaustion via XXE

Published Nov 3, 2022 · Updated May 2, 2025

XXE in the ArubaOS command-line interface allows remote authenticated users to read local files or exhaust system resources. The interface XML parser expands attacker-supplied external entities without adequate restrictions, resolving local resources or recursively consuming processing capacity. Administrative authentication is required, and successful exploitation exposes device-local file contents or interrupts service through resource exhaustion.
