Browser script execution via stored management input
Published Oct 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Aruba Access Points running InstantOS or ArubaOS 10 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser. The web management interface stores attacker-controlled content and later renders it without neutralizing executable script, but HPE has not identified the affected field or handler. No authentication is required to plant the payload, but a user must open the affected interface; the script then runs in that interface's browser context and can read or alter accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
