Local privilege escalation in the macOS OnGuard agent from ClearPass 6.9.11 and earlier or 6.10.6 and earlier allows local users to run code as root. HPE Aruba has not published the affected file, function, or unsafe operation within the agent. Exploitation requires local access to a macOS endpoint and elevates code execution to root without user interaction.
