Remote root access via hard-coded SSH password

Hard-coded credentials in Mutiny Network Monitoring Appliance before 7.2.0-10855 allow remote attackers to gain root access via SSH. The SSH service accepts password authentication for the root account against a weak, fixed password shared across affected appliances. Knowledge of that password and network access to SSH are sufficient for unrestricted appliance control.
