Script execution via unneutralized database query output
Published Jan 1, 2023 · Updated Apr 11, 2025
DOM-based XSS in WeCube platform 3.2.2 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through crafted database query output. The plugin database execution page writes query results containing HTML event-handler attributes into the DOM without neutralizing them. Execution requires a user to render and interact with the malicious result, exposing browser-accessible cookies and session actions.
