Administrative changes via missing AJAX nonce checks
Published Nov 3, 2022 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Restaurant Menu – Food Ordering System – Table Reservation 2.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify forms. The forms_action, set_option, and chosen_options AJAX handlers omit or incorrectly perform nonce validation before applying administrative changes. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active WordPress session to follow an attacker-controlled link, and resulting requests execute with that administrator's privileges.
