Victim-authenticated actions via unverified cross-site requests
Published Sep 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in ftcms 2.1 allows remote attackers to perform authenticated actions through a victim's browser. The affected PHP page accepts a forged request carrying the victim's session credentials without verifying that the victim intentionally initiated it. Exploitation requires a logged-in victim to follow a malicious link or visit attacker-controlled content; public records do not identify the affected page or bound the resulting actions.
