Stored XSS in phpMyFAQ before 3.1.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers via metadata entries. The metadata AJAX handler passes page_id and type values through FILTER_UNSAFE_RAW before storing them; the patch applies special-character sanitization. Access to metadata administration is required, and rendering a template containing the poisoned metadata executes the script in the visitor's phpMyFAQ origin.
