Credential disclosure via improper profile-download certificate validation

TLS validation failure in OpenVPN Connect before macOS 3.4.0.4506 and Windows 3.4.0.3100 exposes credentials to man-in-the-middle attackers. During profile import, the client fails to verify the web server certificate before downloading a configuration profile containing user credentials. An attacker must be able to intercept and alter network traffic; the bounded consequence is credential disclosure rather than VPN-tunnel compromise.
