The CVE record attributes prototype pollution in UglifyJS 3.13.2 to crafted method names processed by DEFNODE in ast.js. DEFNODE copies each own enumerable key from its methods object onto a generated constructor or its prototype, depending on whether the key starts with a dollar sign. The maintainer marked both upstream reports invalid, and the public record establishes no attacker-controlled path to methods or resulting security consequence.
