Uncontrolled resource consumption in affected GitLab CE/EE releases allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via a crafted artifact. Dynamic child-pipeline processing passes attacker-supplied CI artifact ZIP content to a Sidekiq job that allocates excessive memory. Affected releases are 14.3 through 15.6.6, 15.7 through 15.7.5, and 15.8.0; exploitation requires dynamic child pipelines and memory-limited Sidekiq workers.
