Patient-information disclosure via reflected XSS
Published Sep 30, 2022 · Updated May 20, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Canon Medical Vitrea View 7.x before 7.7.6 allows remote attackers to inject script or HTML through crafted URLs. The error endpoint reflects path input, while administrative Group and Users parameters reflect groupID, offset, and limit values without safe output encoding. The first path is pre-authorization; the administrative path requires an authenticated administrator to click a malicious link, enabling script execution and potential patient-information access.
