Indefinite vehicle unlocking via rolling-code replay

Authentication bypass in certain Nissan, Kia, and Hyundai vehicle RKE receivers through 2017 allows remote attackers to unlock doors. The receiver treats two captured, previously valid rolling codes as a resynchronization sequence, rolls its counter backward, and revalidates old unlock signals. Radio proximity to the key fob is required during capture; the saved sequence then unlocks the vehicle indefinitely without the fob or owner interaction.
