Local code execution via project trust bypass

Code injection in JetBrains Rider before 2022.2 allows context-dependent attackers to execute local code through a crafted project. The Trust and Open Project dialog can be bypassed, but JetBrains has not published the affected code path or the operation that incorrectly treats the project as trusted. Exploitation requires user interaction with an untrusted project, and successful code runs with the permissions of the Rider process.
