Network denial of service via malformed SNMP packets
Published Sep 20, 2022 · Updated May 28, 2025
Improper input validation in Huawei PixLab X1 firmware 01.70.49.29.46 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via SNMP. The SNMP parsing module fails to validate external packet contents before processing them, so a crafted SNMP packet triggers denial of service. Network access to the printer is sufficient, with no authentication or user interaction required; the reported impact is limited to service availability.
