Stored script execution via configuration title
Published Aug 19, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in DolphinPHP 1.5.1 configuration management allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The configuration-title field stores attacker-supplied HTML and renders it without effective neutralization when the page reloads. Exploitation requires permission to add a configuration entry and another user to view the affected page, enabling script execution in that viewer's session.
