Authenticated database query execution via unfiltered sort parameter
Published Oct 13, 2022 · Updated May 15, 2025
SQL injection in JFinal CMS 5.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries through crafted sort parameters. The /admin/foldernotice/list handler appends the form.orderColumn value directly to an ORDER BY clause without filtering or an allowlist. A valid login and session cookie are required; the published proof retrieves the current database name, while further impact is bounded by database privileges.
