Authenticated SQL injection via unvalidated order column
Published Sep 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in JFinal CMS 5.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries through a crafted order-column value. The /system/config/list request passes form.orderColumn into an ORDER BY clause that the application concatenates without validation or an allowlist. A valid user session is required; successful injection can read or modify data available to the application's database account.
