Authenticated SQL injection via unfiltered orderBy
Published Oct 26, 2022 · Updated May 7, 2025
SQL injection in JFinal CMS 5.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL through the /admin/advicefeedback/list endpoint. AdvicefeedbackController.list() appends the request-controlled orderBy value directly to an ORDER BY clause without filtering or parameterization. Login is required, and crafted input can read or modify database data and disrupt service through the vulnerable web interface.
