Adjacent code execution via Wi-Fi controller injection
Published Dec 1, 2022 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Code injection in the Sophos Firewall Wi-Fi controller allows adjacent attackers to execute code on affected pre-fix releases. Sophos has not published the controller locus or the untrusted input and unsafe code-generation operation that enable injection. Access requires connection to an interface with Wireless Protection enabled; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code in the controller.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
