Code execution via stack buffer overflow

A stack buffer overflow in HP PC BIOS allows local users to escalate privileges and execute code on affected HP PC models. HP identifies the flaw as a BIOS stack buffer overflow but has not published the affected routine, input path, or incorrect bounds operation. Local access is required, but no prior privilege or user interaction is required; successful exploitation permits privileged code execution.
