Authentication bypass via captured-packet replay
Published Sep 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Authentication bypass in Siemens Mendix SAML before 1.17.0, 2.3.0, 3.3.0, or 3.3.1 allows remote attackers to access applications. The module accepts replayed SAML authentication packets without sufficient replay protection. Exploitation requires a captured authentication packet, and IdP-initiated authentication is a nondefault configuration associated with continuing replay exposure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
