Arbitrary file read in affected Veritas NetBackup releases allows remote authenticated users to read files from a Primary server. Veritas has not disclosed the request handler, protocol message, or file-path validation error that permits the read. Exploitation requires authenticated access to a NetBackup Client and exposes arbitrary server files, with no reported write or command-execution capability.
